Course Description
In this course, property right and limited real rights are examined. In this context; the scope of the right of ownership, acquisition, restrictions, the responsibility of the owner of the immovable property, limited real rights, servitudes attached to the property, servitudes attached to the person, usufruct right, superficies right, resource right, real burden, immovable pledge, movable pledge and movable property are discussed.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students with detailed information about property rights and limited real rights. In this context, it is aimed that students will have a detailed knowledge of property law institutions such as property, immovable property, movable property, limited real rights, easement rights, real burden, pledge and gain the ability to evaluate legal problems related to these issues.
Course Outcomes
1. Explains the scope and types of property rights; compares and distinguishes the characteristics of joint ownership and collective ownership.
2. Has a command of immovable property, acquisition, scope and loss of immovable property.
3. Has the knowledge that the ownership of immovable property can be restricted by legal transaction or due to the rules of private law or public law.
4. Analyzes the types, legal nature and subject matter of limited real rights and evaluates the order of these rights within the legal framework.
5. Defines servitudes, real and personal servitudes, real burden and pledge rights; compares and evaluates their effects on immovable property.
6. Understands the concepts of immovable pledge and movable pledge, the principles governing them and their types.
7. Explains movable property, acquisition and loss of movable property; evaluates the differences between movable property and immovable property within the legal framework.
8. Has the ability to work individually and as a team member in the face of problems related to property law with the application studies carried out within the scope of the course.
9. Applies the principles and regulations related to property law to concrete cases and makes critical evaluations by analyzing judicial decisions.
10. Follows the current legal developments in property law and interprets the changes made in the legislation and evaluates their effects in the field of practice.
